Purchase Terms

1. What you're buying

Ardvarq access is a one-time purchase of $30 (USD), marketed as access for the Fall 2026 planning season. It is not a subscription: there is no recurring charge and nothing renews. Currently, purchased access does not expire at the end of the semester; we may market future semesters separately, but access you have already bought stays on your account. The purchase includes the Ardvarq degree planner plus an included allotment of AI usage (see Section 2).

Optional AI-usage top-ups are $10 (USD) each, also one-time charges, purchasable whenever you choose. Top-ups never auto-purchase.

2. AI usage

The AI features (Ardi chat, audit parsing, AI plan building) draw on a usage allotment included with your purchase. The included allotment is generous; it covers complete degree planning for most students. When it runs out, AI features pause until you add more; everything else keeps working, including your saved plan, your schedule, and course browsing. Your in-app usage indicator shows roughly how much remains.

3. Refunds

If you buy access and haven't actually used it, we'll refund the $30 in full. No deadline, no questions. “Used” means you have sent Ardi at least one message; until then you qualify for a complete refund. Email support@ardvarq.com. Top-ups are refundable on the same principle: if the added usage is unspent, we refund it. Refunding the $30 purchase ends your access.

4. Service availability

We intend to keep Ardvarq running for the long haul. If Ardvarq must ever shut down, we will give at least 90 days' notice and provide a way to export your plan. Catalog and course data are refreshed on a best-effort basis and may lag the university's official sources; always confirm registration decisions against official CU Boulder systems.

5. Your account

Access is tied to your Ardvarq account and isn't transferable. You can delete your account (and all your data) at any time from the account menu; deleting your account does not automatically refund a purchase (Section 3 governs refunds).

6. Billing descriptor & contact

Charges appear on your statement as ARDVARQ. Questions: support@ardvarq.com. Payments are processed by Stripe; Ardvarq does not store your card details.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. They incorporate our Privacy Policy. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms for future purchases; the terms in effect when you bought govern your purchase.
